Trinity University College Men's Football
T.U.C.F.C 1sts won the league last year and gained promotion to a higher division which includes teams such as Cardiff, Gloucester, Aberystwyth and Swansea. The 2nds remain in the same league after a hard year last year with teams such as Newport, Swansea and Hartpury (Bristol.) Both teams participate on Wednesday afternoons in the British University and College Sports leagues and Cups. The 1sts play both home and away legs against each opponent, where as the 2nds have more teams in their league and only play each team once.
Commitment to T.C.F.C does not go unnoticed! At the end of each year, a “Colours Ball” takes place where all members of the Trinity sports teams enjoy a lavish dinner followed by “further celebrations!” At this event, awards are given to various players for their contribution to each team throughout the year. (Captain’s player of the year, Player’s player of the year, Clubman of the year, Most Improved etc.) It is most certainly something that the player can be proud of winning and is definitely something to boost the CV!

The home ground (Ystrad Fields) is situated opposite Spar in Johnstown, on the road towards the Leisure Centre (SA31 3EP).
